Stepped Down! Hammer Resigns As Musica’s Director Of Hiplife

Renowned music producer, Hammer of The Last Two, has resigned from his post as the Director of Hiplife at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) stated!

The producer made the decision known during an interview on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM with Lexis Bill on Monday.

Hammer, born Edward Nana Poku Osei, was appointed by MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, about two years ago to manage and develop hiplife in Ghana.

But the producer says after several frantic efforts to start work without much success, he decided to resign from the post.
“My office never had a budget to do anything,” he told Lexis Bill, adding “I was treated like a little boy.”

According to him, he was at the offices of MUSIGA to find out where he could put his stuff to run the office but he kept getting excuses.

Hammer said he was supposed to be ‘the go-to guy when it comes to these [hiplife] but “I haven’t worked because it didn’t make sense to me”.
“Obour is my friend, I spoke to him a couple of times…he is my boy…I respect him a lot,” but nothing was happening, a disappointed Hammer said.
