Sick and tired of love songs – Runtown declares on Twitter

– Runtown has shared his thoughts on the state of the Nigerian music industry

– He took to his Twitter account to reveal that he is tired of hearing love songs

– This is coming weeks after he was sued by his record label

The Nigerian music industry is full of many genres of music. There are artistes whose songs are hip hop in nature and there are others who love Afrobeats. Others are of the RnB genre or love songs as they are popularly known. One musician who is tired of hearing love songs all the time is popular musician Runtown. He took to his Twitter page to share his opinion.

The label served Runtown the court papers a few days back in Suit No: FHC/L/CS/267/2018 with a statement that partly reads, “Runtown has been deliberately breaching his contract with us (Eric Many) for a while and despite our many appeals to him he has refused to bulge. He went for a show in Las Vegas since January 13th, 2018 and has since decided to withdraw all obligations of his contract. He has steadily been recording an album without the consent and approval of his record label.”
