Poor Who ‘We Are Not Poor’ – King Promise Replies Rex Omar

Of course, he is not poor, especially after signing on as one of the Ghanaian artists to perform at the June 9 highly anticipated ‘ Ghana Meets Naija’ concert among many other shows he’s played in the last couple of months

The “Oh Yeah” hitmaker, King Promise has shot down claims by veteran highlife musician, Rex Omar that the current group of musicians are poor – ghpage.com reports!

Rex Omar stated some days ago in a radio interview that current artists are poor but they live a lie in order to look affluent in the eyes of their fans and the public.

Speaking to the host of ‘Entertainment Xtra’, Emcee Bebe on Cape 93.3 FM, King Promise described the assertion of Rex Omar as vague and doesn’t know how he (Rex) arrived at that percentage (90%) – citing his financial status a case study.

“I don’t know where Rex Omar got that statistical information from but personally I’m not broke and I believe the same thing applies to my colleagues. I’ve got the first degree, doing music and making enough money from it as well. So how…?” he quizzed

King Promise who’s signed under Legacy Life Entertainment is currently promoting his new song dubbed “CCTV ” which he featured Sarkodie and Mugeez.
