New On The Carpet! Johnnie Hughes & AJ Sarpong To Host Red Carpet For VGMA

For centuries, the Red Carpet segment has become such a critical element for high-profile events and so has it been for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in the past years – www.entertainmentgh.com has followed this trend for such a longtime!

The VGMA Red Carpet segment puts the spotlight on the many celebrity attendees, what they wear, the stylists and the fashion designers that cloth them – and this year, two new personalities have been chosen to man the segment.

www.entertainmentgh.com has confirmation that Radio/TV personalities, Johnnie Beresford Hughes and AJ Sarpong are the hosts for the Red Carpet segment of the 19th edition of the VGMA, which comes off this Saturday at the Accra International Conference Center.

Johnnie is an experienced broadcaster currently with TV3 and he tinkers with almost everything from politics, to entertainment to social and economic development. He hosts the award-winning ‘Community Connect’ on TV3 and 3FM respectively, plus, he hosted the last edition of the popular ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful’ pageant on TV3.

AJ Sarpong, now with Citi FM, has been such a force in show business, albeit venturing into political talk on her new station. She’s very much experienced in hosting events and her interviewing skills is near perfection.

The two are expected to superintend the Red Carpet event with such verve, class and so much style!
