Popular Ghanaian actress and television show host, Cecelia Konamah, has disclosed the reason why she wears a wedding ring. According to a report by GHIssues.com, Konamah, better known as Abena Ghana stated that she wears the ring in order of Jesus Christ. She went on to say that it is a strategy to ward off proposals from men, as many of them express interest in her.
Speaking with Kumawood actress, Tracey Boakye on the show, Time with Tracey, she added that the wedding ring guaranteed her peace of mind.
“I am not married; I am married to my Daddy. I am married to Jesus. Jesus is the reason for my ring.”, she disclosed. Abena Ghana, then repeated her statement in English, upon a request from Tracey, in order to clarify issues, assuming there was an English – speaking man in her life.
