– The Bongo star revealed his plans to quit music in the future
– He claimed he was only pursuing music to raise enough capital to get into full-time business
– The singer also admitted he was aware God does not approve of his secular music
Diamond Platnumz has been trying to maintain a low profile ever since he was arrested for posting a graphic video on social media. The father of three seemed to have completely turned over a new leaf after he was caught regretting some of his choices in life. Speaking during the launch of his new religious show, Nyumba ya Imani, Diamond stated he wasn’t planning to sing for the rest of his life. According to him, his music would only act as a source of capital to build his growing empire.
He admitted he was aware God did not approve of his secular music and therefore urged his fellow musicians to strive to be better people. “My fellow Muslim brothers, please realize God does not approve of what we do. Let’s work towards doing good deeds and not bad ones,” he said.
The Wasafi TV boss said his dream is to be a budding businessman as he plans to quit music after making enough money. “My dream is to be a businessman and not to focus on music for the rest of my life,” he continued. The Tanzanian crooner further explained he was only human and was prone to making mistakes at some point in life.
According to him, his career presented a lot of trials and temptations and sometimes he would get weak and go against his religious beliefs.
