Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day today, Tuesday, May 29. Many Nigerians have taken to social media to wish fellow Nigerians happy democracy day to celebrate the commemoration of democracy to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Democracy Day is celebrated every year on May 29, to celebrate the day democracy was restored in Nigeria, when former president Olusegun Obasanjo became president in May 1999, ending decades of military rule. To celebrate the holiday, Five Star Music Record Label boss, Emeka Okonkwo, took to social media to pray for Nigeria and her citizens. The record label boss popularly known as E-money shared the post on his Instagram. In the post, E-money who is currently on a vacation in Dubai asked God to forgive every Nigerian for their sins. He also prayed for healing, adding that Nigeria should be saved from corruption and decay.
He said: “Father, I repent on behalf if this nation, have mercy on us and forgive us our sins in Jesus name. Father, for every generational sin, Grant us generational pardon and heal our land in Jesus name. Father, incline your ears to our petition and save our land from terrorism, corruption, wickedness and decay in Jesus name…#father let the glory of this nation come alive again Amen and Amen…Happy Democracy Day.”
The record label boss also showed off photos of himself on his Dubai vacation. E-money is a 37-year-old millionaire born on February 18, 1981.
He is the younger brother of a Nigerian celebrity, Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known by his stage name Kcee.
