Conqueror! Ebony Reigns Tops All At 2018 VGMA, See Videos

The 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday 14th April 2018 witnessed for the first a female artiste Ebony Reigns won the enviable category at the VGMA dubbed Artistes Of The Year.

Since the inception of Ghana Music Award in 1999 2017-2018 under review has seen many vouched for the late dancehall artiste Ebony known in real life as Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng.

Ebony known for her hit songs include Kupe, Poison, Dancefloor, Hustle among other great songs on her maiden Bonyfied album has seen her swept many awards, which her family and management took the awards on behalf of late Ebony.

Father of late Ebony known in real life as Nana Poku Kwarteng took the award on behalf of his daughter and thanked Ghanaians for voting for Ebony.

According to him, Ebony has worked and deserves to win more awards because she put in a lot of hard which has earned her recognition.

The 90’s badgyal as fans call her will go straight in the history of Ghana music industry as being the first female musician to win Artistes of the Year and other enviable categories on the night.
