Patapaa Amisty, who is currently chilling in France has revealed a new identity – “Patapizzy”.

Born Justice Amoah, Patapaa, stunned Ghanaians with the release of his brand name on Monday, 28, May 2018. The new name, according to Patapaa, was given to him by his godfather, Funny Face, after the 2018 VGMAs.

In a Facebook video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Patapaa revealed that that name is difficult for the white people to pronounce. He added that every white person he meets calls him Patapizzy, therefore, he has decided to add it to his name to make it easier for his white folks. Patapaa is in Europe for to shoot a music video for a new song he is making courtesy Funny Face and football legend Adebayor.

He, however, stated that Patapaa still remains his brand name and so people should feel free to call him by that. Ending his video with one of his popular signatures “wo bɛtse bum pat pat kelenke,” Patapaa expressed his gratitude to all his fans, particularly those in Ghana, noting that he still stands for the Pa2pa Soldiers. He also sent a passionate shout-out to President Akufo-Addo, Funny Face, and Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Togolese football legend has pledged to give Patapaa a massive brand facelift. He has said that he would invite designers Dolce & Gabbana to Ghana to take Patapaa’s measurement to make him fitting and classy suit. Emmanuel Adebayor’s ‘support’ comes after Ghanaians mocked Patapaa for wearing an over-sized suit to the 2018 VGMAs.
