Earlier on, NAIJ.com reported the news of how famous Yoruba actress, Aisha Abimbola passed away in Canada. According to reports, the actress popularly known as Omoge Campus died of breast cancer. While family, fans and colleagues of the prominent actress are still in shock over her demise, plans have already been made and set in motion to bury her remains in Canada. According to the president of Golden Movies Ambassadors, Saidu Balogun, she would be buried today, May 17, according to Muslim rites. He took to his Instagram page to announce the burial plans, “The GOLDEN MOVIE AMBASSADORS OF NIGERIA (TGMAN) wishes to announce to the public that the remains of Amb.AISHA ABIMBOLA( omoge campus) TGMAN Vice President. Will be laid to rest today, Thursday the 17th may 2018. By 2:30 pm Canadian time which is 8:30 pm Nigerian time. This is being handled in conjunction with the Canadian government and families of the deceased based in Canada and TGMAN. ”

However, a candlelight procession/ artiste night will be held in her honour on Thursday 24th, may 2018, while fidau prayers will be offered on Friday 25th, may 2018.
