– Gifty Powers, ex-housemate of reality show Big Brother Naija is embroiled in another controversy – This time, she is being accused of falsifying her age – Many insist she is older than 24 years Celebrating one’s birthday is often a reason for happiness; but quite a large number of Nigerians did not want BBNaija’s Gifty to have that privilege. Their main grouse being her age. Gifty had taken to her Instagram page to write that she turned 24 on October 27, 2017. Born in 1993, the actress had also written that she doesn’t celebrate her birthday because of her father’s death years past. However, many immediately questioned her age saying she looks way older than someone who is 24 years old.
Others said given her track record of telling outrageous lies, they are not surprised that she would lie about her age.
